I disabled the launcher in the settings, and the game runs smoothly. I think I left it at the 30FPS setting, even though my machine could easily do 60FPS setting. The game runs fine, the same as before the definitive edition update. I have a XFX Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 video card and an older i7 on W7.
